Eatery A Ingersoll Des Moines Iowa Restaurant modern barn wood salvage

This is the culmination of a long, creative build, the brainchild of rockstar chef Jason Simon. This is Eatery A, the newest restaurant on Ingersoll, the most buzzed-about spot in Des Moines. Factor did all of the salvaged wood wall paneling, the floating drop-cloud ceiling panels, the barn wood collage wall, the steel mesh wine rack/wall dividers, the server station/wine glass stand, the steel beams and all of the exterior railing on the patio, and so much more in this space. Boonie loves working with Jason; he appreciates Jason’s creative eye and innovative spirit. It is a joy to see this space open—and to see Des Moines respond so well to it (there was an hour wait when we tried to go last night. That’s a good sign!).

Boonie and the guys got to sample some of the test food the chefs were developing during the build. Their verdict: The wood-fired pizza = phenomenal.
